As announced before the keynote, the new devices of the brand are equipped with ARKit 2. ARKit 2 is the new platform of augmented reality created by Apple. The ARKit 2 is using your real environment and adding virtual products, images, characters on it. The brand also presented A12 Bionic. A12 Bionic is the new chip of Apple. This chip allows Iphone to be more performant. Your device will be faster while using less battery. The A12 Bionic allows to improve the augmented reality quality on your device. Thanks to accurate motion tracking, neutral engine for object reflections, cameras calibrated for AR, GPU renders realistic graphics, the quality and the rapidity of augmented and virtual reality have never been so impressive.
Thanks to ARKit 2 and the A12 Bionic chip, new augmented reality games are created and they are revolutionary. For example, as demonstrated during the Apple event, there is a new augmented reality game called “The Machines”. In this game, people can play in an augmented reality way online, but also directly with their friends around a table. ARKit 2 allows people to share the same augmented reality world. You can play with your friends and enter into an impressive game.
What is really interesting in augmented reality games, is that you can move in the place where you are playing to discover new places of the game.
