We created an app for the private jet customers of Jet Aviation
Jet Aviation, founded in Switzerland, is a world leader of the business aviation industry, employing nearly 4,500 professionals and dealing with aircraft maintenance, completions and refurbishment, FBO, aircraft charter, aircraft management and staffing.
For their private jet customers, we created JetVision app – a finalist at the Best of Swiss Apps awards in 2015 – to help them imagine the interior of their future airplanes. We modeled the aircraft’s interior from CAD files, meaning that the user can zoom, rotate and walk across the aisle and explore the plane. We used advanced 3D graphics, with reflections and shadows in order to ensure an optimal user experience.
The completions project can be virtually managed from any part of the world by the client, the design and engineering process is shown by progress reports, along with interior maintenance and spare parts support availability. The 3D application provides an advanced sales enablement tool in the aviation industry and using AR technology, clients can literally hold their future airplanes in their hands.
