Telenor AR labyrinth
A playful way to demonstrate the possibilities of high-speed internet
For Telenor, our application for the promotion of the new 4G coverage network has presented for the visitors the opportunities a fast-paced internet can give in a playful form, in one of the most frequented shopping malls in Budapest, Allée. In the application - with the help of the objects used in the recent Telenor advertisement campaign - we illustrated the development of mobile internet speed, while visitors walked through a Labyrinth with five stations testing their skills - pointing the Android tablets to the pictures at each station. Tasks included finding and catching the Telenor-blue colored butterfly in the middle of a crowd of butterflies within 30 seconds, or touching the train labeled ‘4G’ in the AR tunnel in order to be able to move further to the next station of the Labyrinth. Tasks have become more and more difficult. Turning round and round to touch a blue airplane, launching the AR rocket at the right time on the photo at a station, or at the last station catching the four shooting stars on the panorama AR sky, completing the tasks for the prizes. Both the youngsters and the older generation demonstrated a great interest in the Labyrinth promotion. During the 1-week promotion, almost a thousand people played.
